Position Overview

The Senior Backend Developer will play a critical role in the design and development of our backend services and APIs. You will collaborate closely with our core development team to build robust, scalable, and high-performance applications. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the success and scalability of our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Laravel framework
• Develop scalable and maintainable code following SOLID principles
• Integrate with third-party services and APIs
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive solutions
• Conduct code reviews, mentoring junior developers
• Write comprehensive tests for developed features
• Actively participate in agile development cycles and sprint planning
• Work closely with DevOps to manage deployments and CI/CD pipelines
• Keep abreast of new technologies and best practices in backend development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of backend development experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Laravel
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and design patterns
• Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Proficient in version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
